About the Metav Mosque Carpet

Metav Carpet, which started production in 1960 in Demirci district of Manisa, has now become a 16,500 m2 indoor production facility. A century of family experience has given way to modern facilities today, and the knowledge and experience from the past have shown themselves well in the point Metav Halı has reached today.

Producing 100% wool carpets, Metav Carpets not only produces the carpets it produces, but also goes to the site and assembles them. The high-quality wools that come to the production facilities and are taken from certain regions of our country are first washed, and the pressed wool is blended in the blending unit. From there, it is taken to the belt to be made into yarn, the wool that is turned into a hank on the belt goes to the washing again, and the washed and dyed yarns are made ready for weaving, while quality control tests are performed at each stage and then taken to the weaving loom. The carpets, which are meticulously processed on the latest system computerized weaving looms, are made ready for shipment after going through the shearing, lark, overlock, and rolling processes in order. Our wool, which is meticulously controlled at every stage, is laid by our expert teams.

The patterns that carry the characteristics of classical and modern Islamic architecture prepared by our designers begin to be processed on the looms. Our company, which adopts the principle of “customer-oriented production”, produces according to the needs and demands of our customers. Special designs and colors for the mosque are selected by us, or produced in accordance with the special design of the mosque.
